As mentioned already, planning of having a tech meet for people who're willing and able to fix machines, and this date is grand with me :) Whilst it would be nice to be open for anyone, its probably best to keep the numbers smaller and leave the playing till the Jult date :)
 
Things to be done (not just the tech meet but to be done at some point!):
 
PCB issues:
Berzerk - main board reports ram error)
Rally-x (pcb resetting, maybe psu issue)
Zookeeper (sound dead)
Asteroids (fire sounds a ping)
Mad Planets (text is garbled)
Star Wars
Tempest
Gorf (ram errors, just blue screen)
Wizard of Wor (no sound)
Space Invaders [Taito]
Reactor
Road Blasters
Stun Runner (sound dead)
Tokio Wars (1 pcb set ram error)
Asteroids Deluxe Cabaret (no sound)
Asteroids Cabaret - no pcb!!!
SIlent Scope - no pcb!!
 
Monitor Issues:
R-type
Asteroids (monitor image shakley)
Robotron (hanty montior reqd)
Mr Do (new monitor installation)
I, Robot (disco monitor dead, repair or new install)
Space Invaders [Midway Multigame] - (vertical collapsed)
Space Invaders [Taito] (fit/repair)
Scramble (Monitor dead)
Xevious (monitor issue?)
Sega Mega Tech (no green)
 
Other Issues:
Rally-x (power conversion to UK)
Mad Planets (no down on joystick)
Galaxian (duke cab, new monitor, clean, pcb etc etc!)
Qix (new cr2032!)
Tail Gunner 2 (duke cab - not even assembled!)
Road Blasters (fit pedal!)
Xevious (new artwork, cab restoration)
 
So quite a bit then LOL! Obviously theres a host of Oll's cabs at the unit with issues from bad linear in Blaster, thru Aztarac rebuild and monitor repair)!

Calling allVACcers! Proposing a meet at my place 14th July (with pinfest league meet onthe 15th for a double whammy and we'll sort overnight accommodation & beer) - need a tech-meet beforehand to get the plan off the ground - whose in????

 

... To expand... I've just organized the South East's final Pinball league meet at my place for the 15th July... But I'mthinking it would be great to double whammy the weekend with the Saturday beinga VACmeet at mine (near Chichester)... Theplace would be open 10am-5PM for video games, even a few pin games, and a gettogether. I'm sure we can make room or find rooms if people want to be aroundthe Sunday too but the owness there will be on the Pins, the league - but I’msure everyone would be welcome to join in...

In the run-up I'll be hoping to get the oldschool and new to help assist getting the vids up and running - I’ve a plethoraof monitor issues, plus other minor issues but I'm sure its not insurmountableguys if we all muck in!

 

Indeed, like theSlam, I'll be receptive if people want to lend cabs, either brought on the dayor arranged via the deliveryman before - we'll need to expand on that so thatno-one is out of pocket which might mean a basic cover-charge for the meetbeing the costs divided amongst visitors or something - I'll need to iron thisout once I hear if anyone wants to add a cab!
