Hi All,

I played this last year at AC in Bury (as pictured below). Fantastic game and really frantic gameplay, it reminds me of some of the Cave shooters and it was next to a cab playing DoDonPachi dai-ou-jou.

What's your views on Armed Police Batrider, it seems quite a rare game now?

Cheers

MarK

I have the pcb and it’s my absolute favourite vertical shmup of all time.
Really great to play, lovely graphics and soundtrack and dead easy scoring system with the medal chaining.
It’s also got a sh*t ton of crazy secrets and secret boss battles.

Absolutely love it. The other 2 ‘Bat’ games - Battle Bakraid and Battle Garegga are also ace.

I sold mine for £80, I didn’t really like it when compared to Ketsui, Pork and ESP etc.

Looks great though and will make your CRT monitor look like new.

The scoring mechanism in this game is quite complex but very fun.  It has a ranking system so the more well you do the harder it gets which I dont really like.  I don't usually like Raizing games because of this and the dropping sh*t you have to keep collecting.  Being OCD i just collect everything and forget to dodge bullets LOL  It just becomes a collecting sh*t rather than a shooter for me.  But then some days I get really far and really like it.  It's definately punishing when you fail.

Love it its one of my favorite shooters
Up next to the original don patchi and mushimesama
The music is great and i like how the levels change depending on which team you choose to play

I think its a better game than battle garrega which seems to attract everyones attension
But thats just my opinion

I think the game is the best way to show off monitors.
And I bought it for £60, sold it for £80 when it was working for me on MAME. Haven't sold much ever since...
