Hi all,
Just trying to get various Daytona parts together, but can't for the life of me find a nut that goes smoothly onto the Daytona steering column to attach the wheel.

I've tried M8 nuts with 1mm & 1.5mm pitches, not sure if there's some special size or if my steering column has been cross-threaded in the past.

Any help appreciated Thumbs Up

Hi Tom. Wasn't there one on the end of the shaft? Doh... I'll check the spares jar when I get it. There's probably one in there Thumbs Up

Hey Rob, that'd be great - just didn't want to bother you with such a small thing.

Would have thought it was just a standard nut as everything else on the cabinet seems to be, but as I say, not having much luck.

Hi Tom. My 2 Daytona wheels are held on with washers and nylon locking M8s.
Not sure what the pitch is but they were from a bunch I bought a few months ago off eBay so they shouldn’t be anything exotic?

Thanks for letting me know, I'll use what I can find here - I probably just need to put a bit more effort in!
