That's Ace' nice guy, ooooo who bagged it?
I'm sure you'll know Ol so it must be a booty then, but I thought puckman was the original name? So was the jap cab different to this then? There's me thinking it was worth more because i thought it was an original jap cab |

It's an interesting one. I believe the game was made under license to Kenphone Games who were a Taiwan based outfit. It's an early bootleg as it still bears the Puckman name. Love the crazy artwork. Some more info here.
If anyone can confirm whether the license was legit or not I'd love to know.
I'd be inclined to re-christen the Duke of Lancaster the 'Boot boat' in light of the number of Italian games on there!

Condorman. Awesome!
Boot Boat or Love Boat, take your pick. Missile Storm is my favourite in the haul. The really old Gypsy Juggler is intriguing as well. I ended up with the fleebay Puckman. Will take some internal pics when it arrives via Martin next week. Edited by gridrunner - 01 Mar 2012 at 10:12pm |

The new van is so big, you could live in it. It even has it's own elevator on the back... |

Certainly a bit different. Not sure you'd find a replacement coin door for it though...

Well chaps, it's here and it plays fine. The board is a bootleg and it's a bootleg board I've seen before. Not sure of its origins. I love the artwork. At some point someone has put a jamma switcher inside it. I'll up some picks shortly.
I could turn the hole in the bottom into a cat flap.
any other innovative ideas are welcome!

A friend of mine trashed a taito 'front line' many years ago by hacking a hole in the side and installing his satellite decoder, amplifier, VHS player and various other domestic goods. I was not impressed. It used to get pretty hot too
![]() I had a couple of low slung metal JAMMA cabs once I bought dirt cheap and the op suggested I take the monitors out and turn them into BBQs. Which was actually inspired, but I never actually did it. I always figured the coin door area was ideal to install a 15" bass speaker and the cash box could be the port, might only be worth it for something like blasteroids though. Final suggestion: I cut an outrun bootleg up once and used the bottom half + doors as a nestbox for chicken. right that's enough desecration for one day.... |

It must either be a very small hole or has been made since it was collected. I held it from the bottom while lifting it out the door, so I got a good look at the bottom of it. |
