Ok so PCBS are ordered and should arrive in the next few weeks
Original French Thread about these here (google translate link) http://translate.google.co.uk/translate?hl=en&sl=fr&u=www.gamoover.net/tuto/l2m2-interfacer-un-ffb-et-volant-sega-model-12-avec-un-pc-ou-une-playstation-23&prev=search The High Voltage means i had to take precautions to make sure users are safe so a HV plate has been made and it means i have to send the PCBs with a way to mount them on so nylons spacers, screws and nuts also ordered, (damn i didn't realise these things can get expensive even in bulk) So this has now become a pre order for a full kit of components and PCB parts are all ordered and enough to fulfil current order So the finial PCB design is bellow and 11 pieces have ARRIVED Put your names down if you would like one Please also Select OPTION A or OPTION B ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() After this 1 batch i may not ever have any more made up so its a one off opportunity. i know the price has changed due to components so anyone that is on the list that doesn't not want to order one now then its OK, let me know and i will take you off the list. your not being thick mate, its my fault for not linking to original article edited first post with link i had no clue about these either till vamino told me they are adaptor boards to allow you to use a original Sega Force Feedback sit down or upright cabinet in full force feedback mode using MAME or Steam The Ultimarc APAC allows you to attach pots and make a driving cab but then it lacks Force Feedback Thjsi adaptor is pretty much the same in that it controls the force feedback side of it when interfaced with not a APAC but rather a Logitech Driving Force Steering wheel PCB so what you do is remove the Logitech PCB inside the Wheel and attach it to the Sega Driver cab Force Feedback and Wheel Pots and also with this PCB and they work together to give you a real arcade Driving feel with MAME not having one of these to experience true force feedback is one of teh reason alot of people dont go MAME on a driver cab. |

Silly question but I am guessing this wouldn't work on a G27?

doesn't the g27 use optical sensors rather than pots? if so itt wouldn't work as the original sega model 2 wheel only uses pots.... I can see a few mame racing cabs coming along with all these being sold ![]() |

Ill add you to teh list as well the components im getting are min 10 per item so if i do kits them everyone will have a kit, other wise i will let you guys source them individually i wont do pcb only for some and kit for others, hate to be brutal like this but i really cant afford to hold extra components i have a filing cabinet with just components in them and really am loosing track of what i have and don't have. so far the components are costing me just over £100 that will include everything inc heatsinks you don't need to buy anything else so for 10 kits that's around £10-12 each extra and because components are involved the bulk of the package will rise so postage will be calculated at £3 which is small packet if that's OK with everyone to pay an extra £10 for the components ill get them ordered Guys let me know if your ok with this |
