Who knew it was so rare.

"The only known surviving original arcade machine of its kind".  Errmmm... Ermm

£3k starting price and not a single picture of the cab itself.  Amazing!

Not to mention screenshots from the megadrive version of the game which played completely differently. It's like Google doesn't exist for these people!

I would say they're quite hard to come by, I was looking for one for the longest time!

I know there's one at Arcade Club, and I have one too.

Don't think they're worth £3k though, maybe £1,200?

Yeah that bezel is from a Silverline. The CPO doesn't match the Silverline I have but it isn't a million miles away. Definitely not a dedicated cab anyway.

Agreed, if the board is original, £350 max. The images in the auction are getting better (no Mega Drive shots this time), but it would've been nice to see at least one picture of the entire cab rather than 12 of just the game Confused

I remember the 3 player version in one of my local arcades when it came out, didn't last there long though,it was replaced by the simpsons, and moonwalker relegated to a jamma cab switched to the 2 player version

I played a 3 player dedicated Moonwalker in a Bognor arcade when it came out. Was there for a fair while.

I did actually message the seller of this to suggest changing the title of the listing, as it was a bit misleading...

Click and Collect from Argos?!!
Only if you have a grudge with the staff at your local branch.

Gradually getting more sensible, otherwise (£100 now, but no reserve mentioned).

I've always found the dedicated Moonwalker cabs a little unsettling. Wouldn't fancy the idea of Michael side-art staring at my kids! The game is somewhat average too.

I thought it was pretty good, but I usually put money into other games. Was in loads of places, funnily enough (I'm sure I played the 3 player official cab a few times too).

I don't remember it ever being saught-after in the late 90s. Wonder if Jacko's demise caused the surge in value?
