Hi,

I have a problem with an NSM Ultimate Es 6 technology jukebox. An error " Whoops NVRAM IS INVALID" appeared last week . I was advised it would be the yellow battery chip and. Changed this but the issue remains. I also noticed that the laser seems to be pulsing when in this state but not sure if that is relevant ... I would appreciate if anyone has any suggestions as to what might be the issue.

Should just be the battery, maybe check your soldering and confirm its got voltage.

Thanks for reply Ronnie. The battery isn't soldered, its push fit type. I picked up a replacement but it was used so it might be duff too! I was pretty sure that it was the battery but was curious in case it might be something else. It initially threw up this error but worked again 20 mins or so later but then stopped completely.

I will look on line for a new replacement.

Thanks again

Ronnie, I fitted the replacement battery again but left the jukebox on for half an hour and it worked fine! Think it may have been low on charge ? Have since reinitialised discs and is ticking over nicely! Thanks for your help and advice, much appreciated.

Hello Ronnie Dent,

I take this topic to explain the same problem that I have with my NSM ULTIMATE ES VI.

I can not reset the CDs of my Ultimate, it certainly requires the access code that I do not have.

As for my FIREBIRD, I thought it was necessary to change an integrated circuit that contains a battery.

I found on my Ultimate a removable circuit that contains a lithium battery and a quartz (M4T28-BR12SH1) this battery maintains the circuit backup below (M48T35Y-70MH6).

I ordered a new circuit (battery) that I inter-changed with the original one. At startup, it tells me an error message:

"WHOOPS

The NVRam is Invalid

Pull service - Switch to continue"

I pull the button up and to the right to activate.

He shows me:

"Country USA (j'ai le choix USA - UK - AUS ou D)

Confirm"

When I click on "Confirm" it returns to the error message :

"WHOOPS

The NVRam is Invalid

Pull service - Switch to continue"

I changed the M4T28-BR12SH1 twice and I still have the same error message

I do not have the schema of the Ultimate ES VI, who can help me
