Hi,

I have a problem with an NSM Ultimate Es 6 technology jukebox. An error " Whoops NVRAM IS INVALID" appeared last week . I was advised it would be the yellow battery chip and. Changed this but the issue remains. I also noticed that the laser seems to be pulsing when in this state but not sure if that is relevant ... I would appreciate if anyone has any suggestions as to what might be the issue.

Should just be the battery, maybe check your soldering and confirm its got voltage.

Thanks for reply Ronnie. The battery isn't soldered, its push fit type. I picked up a replacement but it was used so it might be duff too! I was pretty sure that it was the battery but was curious in case it might be something else. It initially threw up this error but worked again 20 mins or so later but then stopped completely.

I will look on line for a new replacement.

Thanks again

Ronnie, I fitted the replacement battery again but left the jukebox on for half an hour and it worked fine! Think it may have been low on charge ? Have since reinitialised discs and is ticking over nicely! Thanks for your help and advice, much appreciated.
