Sadly its not just ebay anymore. The dreamers are spreading!!!

i’ve just had someone offer to buy my refurbished Afterburner. He offered £100 and said that was a fair offer as the game was over 30 years old.

I didn’t even give a sarcastic reply.
Wanted:Outrun, Rave Racer, Virtua Cop 2, HOTD...and dreaming: G-LOC R360(Don't have the space but if I can afford one then it means I've won the Lotto so I'll just buy a bigger house)

It's a hybrid of an Argos computer desk and a telly cabinet. Horrible.

me, it's one of my dream cabs to own, been after one for ages, remember playing this on Scarborough pier circa 1992, many a fond memory of inserting 20p's into this machine, I already have the proper monitor, bezel, control panel, wiring loom and of course the very rare 'Doom O Crappo' game board which only one is known and I own it which I've had for over 20 years, I got it off the old guy who worked at Doom O Crappo Leisure ltd, he remembers designing the game when he worked there, he said he spent many an hour dipping his chocolate hob nobs while pondering over the custom chips, I often go over to the retirement home where he spends most of his days and we talk about how the decline in arcades and the boom in home consoles ruined the arcades but with his dementia he get's confused and starts asking me to 'see if there's enough change for the tea time rush' or sometimes he ask's me 'can you hold the fort while I go and do some collections' I just laugh and say 'yeah sure' on my way out I normally say 'don't eat all the hobnobs' that was apparently his work banter joke everyone used to say to him

I'll have to go over to my mams house and dig it all out all the parts from the loft, should still all be there wrapped in anti static bubblewrap,

so anyway please don't bid, I really want this one

ooooooh if I had the space (and the money) I'd have that...
