Before anyone freaks out all these mods are easily reversible.

I noticed the irem m92 pcb the rgb output is way darker than other jamma boards so I added an ultimarc rgb amp with voltage divided inputs before the jamma connector to improve it:



The amp is sitting on electrical tape so removing it would just requires removing the tape, using a heatgun to remove a small amount of hot glue holding the wires in place, and soldering 3 short pins for the rgb traces.

Here's the before and after shots from my supergun:





I noticed the sfx volume was too loud.  I found the trace that connects the sfx pcm stuff to the yamaha music, disconnected it, and added around 2.5k ohms resistance between it to fix the balance:
