Just managed to get to wave 117 on difficulty 8.
Very pleasing.
All the scores 420K and below on the table were done on tournament mode (5 lives no extras) on difficulty 8.

Couldn't you put it on with full contact adhesive like carpet fitters use?

A very good score, I can't seem to get more than approx 550,0000 on recommended settings despite playing for an hour every day

Any tips?

I play every 2-3 days for maybe 1 to 2 hours. I agree this is the best game ever created. So fast and addictive.
As for tips.
1 stay away from the corners.
2 Get as many humans as you can but never go for one if you think there's a chance of dying. It's never worth the risk. You get a feeling for it in the end.
PM me if you want to discuss it more. I'd be glad to help a fellow addict.

That's a great score dude. I can get around 380k on tourney modes, but struggle around lv 50 on marathon settings.

It is still the only game to get a proper sweat going for me. I usually have to have a bit of a sitdown after playing!

I used to play Roby every day, but only a few times a month these days.

It's still the best game ever IMHO.

Well since getting my pathetic 550,000 on marathon settings, I have installed removed the battery and installed a NVRAM to the CPU board (should be good for > 10 years) and have recently managed to get just under 700,000.

Still a way to go yet to get close to Qubit's score but I will keep on trying......

I'm not playing enough Robotron.

I'm going to fix that.

I think I have been playing too much Robotron and my best is just under 1 million on marathon.

It is still my favourite game by far as the risk/reward gameplay can't be beaten but I can't play as much now as I have pain in my right wrist, the left one is ok though.

Not played for months, but last night at Arcade Club (after U72 let me tweak his joysticks Wink) Shaunholley, Phillv85 and myself had a few great games and this really rekindled my interest in Robotron.

So I decided to blow the dust off my JROK tonight and have a cheeky game at home - smashed my previous PB of 666675 on my first go. Big smile

By no means a great Robotron score, but a huge improvement for me (and so close to my first million point game)!

Going to have a couple more games now, and no doubt like last night at AC my scores will get progressively worse as the evening goes on! LOL
