I know it's not cab related but my 3 week old phone appeared in a clients toilet......
Anyone sh*t hot (see what I did there? ) at fixing these things?

Letting it dry out naturally is a place to start, my sister dropped her HTC in a toilet a few times, and it always worked after letting it dry out.
Of all the things I've lost, I miss my sanity the most.

remove the battery and place iniside dry rice

the starch will suck up the water

then open it up and if you have a sub sonic bath put in that wit isoprol or then buy the spray can from maplins and douse the PCB in it and that will evaporate the water as the alchahol evaporates


there used to be a phone on our garage roof i knew it was there and never bothered with it. over a year it was there and one day my brother saw it and brought it in

he revived it using those procedures and even ended up selling it working

1. Stick it in a tub of rice (or silica balls if you have some) for a few days.

2. go buy a f'king Nokia 3310 cos you are sh*t with decent phones! LOL
