Hello,
I have a arcade table top games console that now refuses to start - the screen is powered up as a green LED verifies but the games do no load - can anyone advise? Thank you,

Your Dip settings look ok for a LCD monitor. You could try flipping dip 4 to on and see if the settings page appears. Also do you have the monitor set to the correct input?

Can you plug another source into the monitor to rule that out? Otherwise that appears to be a 60 in 1 board in there. They are cheap to replace.
Have you got a multimeter?

Yeh agree - test monitor with another source (Pc ect) or if you have a jamma board throw that in. Also check the voltages to the board as they may be low.

Oh great - i'll look on Ebay - do I need to search for a particular model code or just a 60-1 board? Also I've tested the screen from an external laptop and it works fine.

Did you try and put the dip switch on position 4 to on? This will put the board into setup mode. The first screen should show a calibration pattern on the monitor. Might be worth trying just to make certain the board in knackered.

Ok I powered down, then moved dip switch 4 to on and still no joy? Does this mean the board is knackered then?

possibly yeah, you could connect it into another monitor to check.
I think on mine a little green LED lights up on the board but i cant check as its in my cab against the wall and is heavy! Watch this at 2:50 you can see the led flashing. Does yours? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8K8-wbDP9fM |

No even with dip switch 4 either on or off no LED's flash ? I check the screen using a laptop and the screen worked fine. Seems to point to a faulty board would you say?

Are the power supplies pretty much the same standard config? |
