Hi all. Went a bit mental and bought this pristine SFIICE board. Arrived today. Absolute gorgeous. Just need a decent supergun to play on my B&O TV now as my cab in only 3 button. Love it!

Naomi 2 motherboard arrived today.  I only expected the main board for the money i paid, but it arrived with a cart installed.  Not my choice of game but a slightly unusual find so i'm not complaining!

HF for the win...speed and balance is just the best out of all SF2's....,having the original board too is a must have as for some reason the speed of the game is way way too fast in Mame (more insane than hyper already is lol)...FBA is the only real option for emulating it...

Super Turbo is still more fun to play, even though its crazy unbalanced by comparisson

Recieved the BBS Garo ...its a component to VGA adapter....I bought it mainly for my original Xbox...

Works perfectly with the Xbox HD component adaptor for HD picture goodness....

Linked it up to my old PC's crt VGA monitor to begin with and the 480p output it gives looks just amazing compared to the old 480i output....heres some examples to give an idea.....

Soooo much sharper....Can go up to 720p/1080i aparently too, have not tested that yet,. but a lot of the xbox games support only to 480p anyway I believe...tried it on my PS2 and that works fine too....

Heres the device/setup...need to get some shorter cables to be fair though lol..next step is to try it in one of my arcade cabs tri-sync, will prob look really nice on a 29" tosh PF...

Finally gone and got myself a Beeb. Only 38 years late to the party... or just in time for the amazing arcade conversions coming from Richard Broadhurst et al. Either way, ossum sos!

Cheers dude. And, yeah, the full kit wasn't exactly cheap bitd. Just watching a prog on BBC 4 about the European Space Agency's Titan project in the 80s. The computer lab was filled with BBCs.

Nice one. These old cabs have real charm. I really like the way you've got them in a half-timbered room. Looks a bit like a corner of a country pub c. 1982 - the natural environment for those two games! All you need now is a basket of chicken and chips and you'll be tardised back to the good olde days. Seriously though, how about a vid with a review of Astroblaster and a comparison with Richard Broadhurst's Beeb conversion?
