Hi,

I have posted about this one a few times. I am getting no 5v from the PSU. I sourced a new cap kit from the US and had all the caps changed on the PSU main board and the amp inside the PSU unit. Still no 5v. I tested the power from the PSU to the IO board and no 5v from the PSU wiring itself so confident its not the IO board. There is a 5v potentiometer which looked loose on the board but tested it with a multimeter and it seems to be working. No idea where to go next and the machine has been down for over 6 months.

2 solutions I guess
1)Can anyone suggest what to do or suggest a place to take it to get it tested and hopefully fixed (I live in Northwich, I can post it or travel within reasonable distance)?
2) Has anyone got an internal Blast City psu 110v board for sale that works? They seem hard to find these days.

I really am struggling with this and the machine is my pride and joy. Spent a lot of time getting bits, testing to my own ability and spent a few quid on it to no avail. I feel like I am getting nowhere with it.

Help =(

Possibly Grant (Gunblade) could look at fixing the PSU - although not sure if he works on that model.

I have noticed that Blast City psu's come up fairly regularly on YAJ, although it would cost a bit on shipping you can get a replacement if you need it. You also need to be careful to check it's been tested.

Just a suggestion but you could try Yanton, I've not used him in the last 2 years so do not currently know how reliable he is, I know his track record for reliability is variable. I have used him in the past with only minimal issues being poor communication and very slow shipping, but I did receive what I paid for.

Used him before for the amp board but the PSU board is oos. Tried to message him but no reply.
