The only local arcade that had this, only let you in if over 18 or with a Parent, (due to them having fruities too) But I have fond memories of playing this in that arcade with my Mum on a Friday afternoon after school. We did finish it, so must have pumped a whole wad of coins into it.

Played the original GB port of this loads as a kid as it was one of the few games I had. I was actually disappointed when I got an original board as the gb version had better sound / music and no slow downs.

I downloaded this as soon as I became aware it existed a few weeks ago. It's not perfect but my god it's a lot of fun

It was very good port.

Sad news indeed.
What an absolute legend ! Double Dragon on the arcade is screen burnt onto my memory , such a hugely influential game.
The port to Gameboy was as others have said incredible..
