My mate got banned from Napster because he was sharing what he had downloaded, Bobby Brown I think
That was crap anyway after a couple of years, Audio Galaxy was the best then
we were rarely downloading new music anyway, most of it was all old, 80's and early 90's stuff. If you can't buy it from shops how can you listen to it, so if they don't bother to repress Records or Sell on CD you can't buy it so they ain't loosing any money are they?
One thing I would like to know
If it's illegal to download music, if you can only buy it on Vinyl and it's now rare like the N-Joi - Anthem EP White Label I got from ebay after some kind guy told me who the other two tracks were also N-Joi
They only Pressed about 100 of them, so once they have sold them or gave them away, when someone is asking £100 or more probably now for it, how is that not worse than downloading it, if you can't buy those tracks anyway, the band don't get any money from 2nd hand Record or CD sales, so really no music should be sold 2nd hand and dealers are making a fortune
If someone downloaded it, then it saves dealers making money
All nonsense if you ask me
I've done the same sometimes, If I liked it that much I've bought CD's even though I had it downloaded
You can rip the MP3's from Youtube and the quality is good enough on many now so why are they on Youtube
Same with DVD's, there are loads of people selling TV Series on Ebay or websites of anything that's not out officially on DVD. Auto-man series was regular DVD-R sales on ebay and they finally release official DVD, I'd still seen idiots buying the copies from TV recordings after Offical ones out
There are still loads of films you can't buy on DVD let alone Blu ray
Guy is selling 3D of Friday 13th 3-D on ebay other week because it's still not been done on proper Blu Ray 3D yet they have done Amityville and Jaws now
Just don't get how people can profit from older CD Singles like ACEN and no money they make goes to band but you can't download it even though can't buy it
