Martin came this morning, dropped off my 5. All are in much better condition than I expected, the side art on all is excellent, Op Wolf art is near mint on both. Yes, took 2 of them

Hang On should clean up well, and the Phoenix is the Licensed one with full art on the side. All cabs are complete with pcb and monitor except that one, but fortunately I have a working original Taito pcb I picked up on the last raid I did in a weird bit of luck. It's really nice to get cabs with all their original keys, and completely unmolested inside. All proper monitors, and wiring, no dodgy hacks.

Here's a bunch of pics.

Yeah nice haul indeed. The art on the Op Wolfs looks in great shape! Love the Nova Phoenix too, same as the one Bodypop had.

Cheers I'll pm you about the cosmic wars.

Cosmic wars, is that a variant of Uniwars?

As for Hang-On, thats a classic right there, I was addicted to playing that at last years Revival and managed to 1cc after many attempts. I'd like to own that cab one day, there's just something about the game I really love.

Wow that's an awesome selection of cabs, you must be made up with those.

The Cosmic Wars is a nice find. I love these unusual Electrocoin cabs. There seems to be a quite a few Electrocoin cabs on old flyers which just never come up.

The Pheonix art looks awesome and the Operation Wolf and Hang-On cabs look in great condition, you must be made up with those. Looking forward to the restoration threads.

Finally had some time to get a proper look at Phoenix today. Was the only cab missing a board, but luckily picked up an original Taito one on a prior raid that Porchy kindly repaired a few weeks back.

First tests weren't great, single noise and then nothing. No response from coin up or anything, just some vertical lines on screen.

Turned out the loom wasn't a full match to the original pcb, 5v where there shouldn't be and some other things in the wrong place so sorted that first. Guess the boot pcb it was running originally had a slightly different pinout. Still no joy. Although 5v line was good with no load, the pcb side was showing 4.4v once it was connected. Fortunately the psu had an adjustable 5v so that was easy to sort.

Got a picture then but game wouldn't start. Bizarrely there was no wiring back to the coin up so I'm really not sure how it worked when it was on site, added a new wire in and it was playable again. Monitor is not very happy, so that will need a bit of tlc in the future & needs a thorough clean as well, but pleased to have the first cab of this lot working.

This is a good start Olly, at least the monitor does something! Looking forward to when everything's getting back to normal and can come down and have a look at that and the other cabs in person!

Always wanted an operation wolf. A resto thread on them would be nice!

They don't need anything doing really. Just a clean and metalwork stripping back and painting but other than that they are both pretty mint.

One of the pcb's has been repaired by Porchy, so may have one of them up and running next week!

Good to see pics of the TX-1 and now I think we can see why not many are left, HOW BIG

The height looks mental, that must make F355 Deluxe look smallish

Very Cool to see another lot of classic machines saved

Thanks to some incredible pcb repair work by Porchy one of the Op Wolf cabs is now playable.

Monitor needed the lopt turning up to max to get it like this so is on its last legs but is fine for now and a decent picture.
