I bought a set of these from ali express in the 3m 144 variant

So it works but the last few feet of led's don't light! I contacted the seller he told me it needs 10 amp psu so I tried it on my 20amp bench psu it was still the same even when I powered it from the other end, informed the seller and he sent me another set but it's exactly the same? surely not 2 faulty sets? Or I'm being stupid! Likely! I'm getting 12volts out the other end?

Thanks Ronne

Those strips are addressable LED's so I would imagine the controller is probably not setup for 432 leds but perhaps only writing data for 360ish which would explain the unlit LED's.
Have you tried connecting the strip the other way around so the blank ones are near the controller?
Only other thing with these strips is that it can pay to inject just the power at both ends of the strip.

Actually just looked at their pictures and several of the controllers actually state 2048 LEDs on the front. But one of them doesn't, the "17 Key 4pin RF Phantom Controller", perhaps this one doesn't support that many.

Thanks, both strings are lighting the same 300 leds, so have been told probably the controller only does 300 which is not ideal as it came with the 3m string
