It's become clear finding a decent machine at the right price won't happen soon, so i've decided to build one from scratch
I've started this thread to keep tabs on progress and it might be of interest to other people, i'll post up some pics of the stuff i have collected to date for this build, but here's a list -

What i'm missing -
Full wiring loom ( i'll get an repro from the US )
Monitor ( but might nick one from a Defender i have coming from US )
Speaker grill ( ^^ as above )
Side art stencils ( i'll grab some from the US again )
Power ( various options )
Leather textured t-Mold
Repro CP overlay ( must be the best )
Blue price card thats sits under Bezel
