I’m really chuffed with this cab
I’d just about given up on it and ready to sell
It’s a cab that means an awful lot to me
So when a member offered help ,I was delighted
The board turned out to be a complete nightmare for him to repair
It’s running on a Crt tv which is great ,the member even made an adapter for it
Such a cool game in my opinion

Great game and it looks like a nice survivor. How did they do that with the screen? It looks like a modern 16:9 ratio, does the bezel just make it look that way, is that a large chunk of CRT hidden out of view?

That’s a bit of homemade bezel hiding the bottom casing
Of tv lol
I think it looks nicest with 16:9 image
It’s just an adapter he made from the connector for original to the yellow video input on side of tv
Quite clever I think

Looks great Glenn, you will be able to get a better high score as well as the start / finish straight is longer in 16:9 so you can get more speed up

It’s a class game ,I haven’t played a two player game yet .
It’s great to have it going ,original monitor is still there for maybe some day
But I’m totally happy with it as it is
Well done is right mate for the guy that fixed it
Especially as it had all sorts of issues and he talked me through all them too

One of my favourites

My pcb is not working atm and the old screen is bad....I thought about replacing it with a tv....are there any electronic parts involved in your adapter or is it just wiring?

Yeah the 4 gears seem pretty hardcore! I imagine by the time your in 4th you immediately have to shift down!

I think i heard with this game some people have turned off the oil slicks and hazards via dip which makes it more fun/manageable?
