Super Sidekicks Autostart When There Are Credits

Folks hoping to pick the hivemind on this problem. Big fan of Super Sidekicks and about to put it into our arcade but it's got a bloody annoying thing whereby after a game ends a timer counts down from 30 seconds and if there are credits in the machine it will autostart a new game. Is there a way to stop this from happening? Seems like something I should be able to toggle off? Using a FB Neo emulator on Recalbox to run the game as the OG board I have is flaky.

Thanks!

Theres lots of games like this that will start a new game if there are credits on it, I think Outrun is one of them.

Guessing your running on a freeplay model and ahve a credit button? If using an emulator not sure if you can map the player start buttons to also be coin entry so that you dont need the credit button.

I don't think that would solve the problem. The problem is when someone walks away from the game (happens a lot in a freeplay arcade where people aren't bothered on losing money) it counts down from 30 seconds and starts a new game. Meaning it's pretty much always 'in a game' when someone approaches it to play and usually you're 4-0 down!

You are describing the expected behavior. After a 2P game the game awards the victor a single play game, effectively starting a new game. To stop this and put it to the behavior you want, change the DIP setting "continue with with" to "continue with without". I'm going from memory so it might have different syntax.

No idea how this works on an emulator though.

Thank you I’ll take a look at how to do that
