Well just returned. 468 miles and 14 1/2 hours round trip.
Unfortunatly the only real nice old pickup was a gauntlet 2 4 player cab. There was no electric in the wharehouse as it was being demolished.
3 Jamma cabs,
Star Wars trilogy upright
Special criminal investigation.
Loads of Jamma pcbs and sega model 3 stuff.

Looks like I was a week too late getting there.
2 twin rally 2 smashed and stripped, Daytona 2 twin smashed and stripped. Must have been 50 monitors all knocked and sitting in a pile outside. I did get about 20 chassis to sort through.

The best bit was 3x crazy taxi cabs all smashed and stripped.
The whole place was full of fruit machines, pushers and quiz machines. A 30ft skip out the front fill to the top with fruit machine parts and wires and stuff for the scrap man to collect tomorrow morning.

My main objective was to get a pintable from him but when I got there he had decided to keep it so left without it.

The only things left were a daytona stand up complet,
Time crisis 2 stand up single working apparently and a nice Ferrari 355 twin.

No other video stuff was there just the fruits. I was planing on spending a few hours there sorting through it all but adter arriving at 9.20 was told I only had a couple of hours as they had to go out.

If anyone is intereted in the few bits I left behind let me know and an offer and I will let them know. I’m hoping they change their mind on the pintable as he did say if he did then he would deliver so I could get them to bring some other bits back.

So the short of it all is a long day and just some Jamma stuff to show for it. So gutted about the pintable as that was my only reason for going and anything else would have been a bonus. Unfortunatly none of the stuff was cheap cheap either so some of it will be listed for sale to get cash back. A few rare boards so once tested maybe tonight or tomorrow I can get some valuations.

Cheers

Shame to hear about the gear that had been smashed, but well done for saving what you could. :)

Hows the condition of the Star Wars Trilogy?

Star Wars trilogy is ok but no side art.

It will be for sale and I have a spare pcb set for it. All untested at the moment.
It’s a project I guess but was worth saving.

Sorry you didn't get the pin Steve; there'll be more I'm sure!

I do need a chassis for a 19" tube I've got that has this neck.

8 pins and I think the metal work has a Hantarex sticker.

Nice one Steve, and to think you have only just started clearing space after the French raid. Bad news is I am clearing out the two Supreme cabs this weekend so that means space in the garage!! Don't tell the wife :)

I need a chassi for the Taito Kamikaze I got so maybe something there for me, and always interested in the other bis.

Hi guys, I’m pretty sure most of the chassis are hanterex ones and there was definatly a trysinc chassis for a 29” tube.
Once I get chance I will get some pics but I would image all will be faulty as they were on shelves in the workroom.

It’s not the only pin I have my eye on as just waiting for a shipment to arrive which will probably all be for sale once cleaned up.

Watch this space.

A few pics of the haul. Not very exciting but I’m sure they will keep me busy.

Looks like a great haul to be honest. Lots of boards, hopefully all working (there isn't a Chase HQ is there?). You've got some great cabs there too. SCI depending on condition is worth at least £350 if working.

I hope you're still able to get that pin. Real shame about those stripped racers and monitors, and someone needs to save that Daytona

Great pics steve. Still a very worthwhile rescue I'd say, even if you didn't get what you expected!

Now, my spidey-sense reckons you have some IREM & Capcom boards there?....

Shame the neanderthals got to a lot of it before you could save them

Still looks like a good haul tho.

Do I see Sega Model 2 cages in there? The filterboards in pic 5 look like 2A (bottom 3) and 2B/C (top 2)

Well you got 3 decent dedicated cabs a few Jamma’s And parts. possibly not what you wanted but still a good save i reckon.

Did the trilogy have a CRT still, most times i’ve seen these in the wild they’ve had some sort of screen conversion.

Luckily it’s all original and has a spare pcb set. They had a deluxe one also but I strippedit for the game pcb as too big for the van and would be the same for anyone to buy for their house.
He has another storage unit theybwill be emptying next year so will ask for pics and then maybe organise a raid for people.

Needs to be more than fruitless.
