    Posted: 24 May 2016 at 8:27pm
I'm taking pre-orders now for repro SLAPSTIC's.

Price will be £25 each fully assembled and tested plus postage.

I can also offer a universal module which does 8 Chips in one (only the ones marked *) this is will be £30 but extremely handy to have in the spares tool box !! -This has dip switches for selection and is built to be more robust.

I will also offer a refund (less postage) if you are for any reasonable reason unhappy and return the module as supplied undamaged. (if it didn't fix your broken board that's not a valid excuse)

Drop me a message......

Here is the list.....

137412-101 - NOT AVALABLE DUE TO PINOUT

* 137412-103 Marble Madness
* 137412-104 Gauntlet
* 137412-105 Paperboy
* 137412-105 Indiana Jones & the Temple of Doom
* 137412-106 Gauntlet II
* 137412-107 2-Player Gauntlet
* 137412-107 Peter Packrat
* 137412-107 720 Degrees
* 137412-107 Xybots
* 137412-108 Road Runner
* 137412-108 Super Sprint
* 137412-109 Championship Sprint
* 137412-109 Road Blasters (some versions)
* 137412-110 Road Blasters
* 137412-110 APB

* = multi module with jumpers dip switch selection.

137412-111 Pit Fighter
137412-112 Pit Fighter (Europe)
137412-113 Unknown (Europe)
137412-115 Race Drivin' DSK board
137412-116 Hydra
137412-116 Tournament Cyberball 2072
137412-117 Race Drivin' main board
137412-118 Rampart
137412-118 Vindicators Part II

Thanks, Colin

###  MULTI MODULE NOTES ###

SWITCH 1 to 3 on DIPSWITCH SIGNIFIES PINS 1 2 and 3 on CHIP, So You have a Switch at the TOP where the NOTCH is....

Chip Number is 103 + Dip Switch Value 0 to 7 ( 1 = 1, 2=2, 3=4)

103 = 123 OFF OFF OFF
104 = 123 ON OFF OFF
105 = 123 OFF ON OFF
106 = 123 ON ON OFF
107 = 123 OFF OFF ON
108 = 123 ON OFF ON
109 = 123 OFF ON ON  -  THIS BEHAVES THE SAME AS 106
110 = 123 ON ON ON    -  THIS BEHAVES THE SAME AS 103

The NEW Multi MODULE LOOKS LIKE THIS....  IT ALSO HAS A 'REALLY SOLID' IC SOCKET FITTED TO MAKE IT MORE ROBUST (ADDS STIFFNESS AND PROTECTS SOME SURFACE MOUNTED COMPONENTS) AND ALSO ACTS AS A PIN SAVER, SO YOU CAN REPLACE THE PINS WITHOUT SOLDERING.

Some awesome work Colin.  I'm pretty damn gutted I missed out on a Champ Sprint PCB nowCry

I may order one anyway in the hope I can pick up a board at some point and then could easily convert it with your chip replacement

I've been working on a test fixture and just need to borrow a 106 Chip to verify against another one as I seem to be getting a failure on my own real 106 when put through some of the tests.

This can be found on Gauntlet 2 or Championship sprint....  Once this issue is out of the way, the modules will be ready to release into the wild :-)

Did you already find a 106 chip to borrow yet? I could take it of my Championship Sprint board and send it to you.

I will go for a couple of multi ones when you get them sorted out.
I do have a spare 105 (Indianna) but am guessing you have already checked this one out judging by your other thread on the slapstic.

Someone is supposed to be sending me a 106 chip to verify.... but I may have to take one of the above offers up if all else fails....

I have 17 built and tested now...... been a busy weekend and ran out of CPLD's (supplier has let me down).

These are SOLID, ROBUST and Built to last !!! They incorporate a female IC socket (which also protects some parts) to take turned pin header strips, so no worries if you snap a leg off..... just replace the strip.

Got the 106's and they both pass my tests where as my own 106 fails.... This is good as confirms mine was bad all along and that all the multi chip modes are good.

I'm going to start shipping these soon.....  I'm still waiting on more parts to build more but will start to go through the lists and arrange payments etc.

Thanks, Col
