Hi everyone,
I bought a Namco 357 with Tekken 6 on YAJ, it arrived, I plugged it into my Vewlix C but it's not displaying a picture or audio. Everything is connected to the right place, VGA, audio, dongle, JVS IO etc. The only thing I dont have connected is the 12V DC in. Does anyone know if that's a necessity? If it is, does anyone know how I can get a 12V line from a Vewlix C, that's new territory for me, everything else I've had in previously has just needed AC. Thanks

I've been doing some reading on the System 357 recently. I have read varying reports of 12V & 5V on the inputs. The general consensus is, is that the DC input is required on the unit (shown below). Just be careful - I don't have a system yet so cannot verify the socket number for the DC input.

Thanks very much for the help guys.
I found an article on arcadeotaku too that said the 12v DC in is needed. I’ve got a Vewlix at home so I need to see how I can 12v from the PSU. I’ve never looked at that before. I do have a Noir cab, which I’d assume these boards would have been made for, so would have thought that would be easy, but can’t try that as it’s at work! :( |

FrancoB on AO can make up an adapter suitable if required. I had one for 357 to a Capcom JVS I/O. Great game, shame about the noisy fans that can't be changed. Edited by jimmerd - 16 Jan 2021 at 12:28pm |
