^ I was thinking this Gud/Ol

Surely the Pro is more valuable/collectable in it's original state?

A nice project though all the same

* edit - can the pin mods be reversed? *

All reversible!

So the plan is:

1. Install the LE apron and flasher kit
2. Remove the black Pro armour and legs and install mirror chromed legs and armour
3. Install EL wire on the ramps

Additionally install:

1. Cliffy protector for the arcade scoop
2. Shaker motor!

The first mod was fitted yesterday, Cliffy Tron scoop protector!

I say the first mod, but it already has the Tron arcade mod, Cliffy ramp protectors and the upgraded hallmark lightcycles. But they were fitted by the previous owner.

Currently assembling the LE apron. Pix coming soon!

Look forward to seeing this. Not modded mine.... yet.

Do your balls get stuck on that cliffy? Had to cut an bit extra out of mine to ensure they dropped into the hole OK.

So I have the apron and the ramp light kit. But the Tron LE machines had really cool chrome armour.

Tron Pro:

Tron LE:

The Tron LE armour has a liquid mirror finish and the side rail armour has protectors around the buttons.

I didn't want to remove all of my metal work so I have spent the last 6 months slowly finding it all.

I won a set of used black Stern legs on eBay
I won a Stern lockdown bar on eBay
I got the back box hinges from someone on the UK pinball list that was parting out a Stern Striker Extreme.
I got the LE style rails from www.pinballlife.com, they only have black..

So everything was black! I needed to change this.

Used Stern black armour. So three weeks ago I dropped it off at the metal finishing place I used for my Indiana Jones restore.
