I noticed there was a really interesting thread in modern gaming of what people collect outside of the arcade stuff. I saw quite a few members like film posters and one was collecting VHS tapes. I used to have a nice collection of video posters but all deteriated over time had robocop, predator, fright night , red sonia plastic stand up !

Well for all the collectors that never played with their stuff, guess I am the opposite. Used to have quite a lot of action man and Starwars stuff. I don't really collect it now, but everytime I visit my mum and dad they seem to keep finding more of it. I really played with my stuff and now my kids do, its used daily not stored away.

This is what I was given when popped home this half term and I think is the last of it, although I am sure I had a tank somewhere !

The jeep is faded but so amazing all the stickers are still attached, it was left outside quite a lot "

Some more action men that I need to re-attach the heads, it's really fiddly to do !

I have almost a tribe of ewoks !

I don't really do collecting of anything, anymore, but I seem to have inadvertantly been collecting Vectrex consoles. Currently have 6. I think I need help.

Are you modelling any particular era or location?
Location will be where I live as we have a steam railway here, It wont be 100% accurate but the sattion and surrounding areas will have as many local building as poss. The era has to be pre 1960 But I will aim for 1945 ish. No elctric or diesel loco's thanks ! lol.

I love stephen king , I dont read much but love the movies. My No 1 Favoutite film is Stand By Me , I purchased the book (The boby found) but not started to read it yet. Another favoutite is Desperation & The Stand. He is prety much the best writer IMO.

Records, got all the Street Sounds Electro Collection plus loads of other 80's 90s
BMX's got 5 and Grifter I just wrecked the forks on lol, mind you I did on my Grifter when everyone else just got BMX's, I did the same jumping off walls etc and the forks already curve at bottom, the curve just gets bigger:LOL:, ended up fitting BMX straight forks to it, it was pretty much a BMX by time I finished until I got 2nd Chrome Burner Frame off school mate for £5 and finally had a BMX
Ghetto Blasters (Biggest and Most Powerful) and Vintage Seperates I couldn't afford in the 80's, Big Speakers I really like, my brother buys new ones but still not as good I don't think, can't beat huge woofers
Commodore 64, Amiga and Games
DVD's and Blurays and Movie Posters I started buying years ago and managed to get an original curved Cinema backlit frame

My dad had his Railway setup in the loft before we moved house and the new one hadn't got decent loft for it, so just been boxed up since, I got him hooked on Train Simulators though so he's happy with that now. He likes Great Central where we live
