You definitely don’t need that. That is for adding snac arcade sticks.

Just thinking out loud, if this is a SNAC only device, it will NOT control menus and will only have 1 player. These are your symptoms right?

I only have 1 player yes
It does control the menu though .

I have a button next to the jvs port I don’t know if that changes the controller modes ?

The very fact that it says joysticks is
Showing me that it is possible to add payer 2 ..

Both the toggle and the small red push switch I don’t know what they do ?

Its not a SNAC device, its an xinput USB interface.

The switch next to the JVS connector is designed to do something like map player1 controls to player 2.

Maybe this is what’s going on then
The switch is forcing mappings from p1 to p2 …

I will try flipping it back later
I have the Antoni usb to Jamma mister add on I’m sure that was fine with p1 & p2 Controlls auto recognised

Ive got 2 of these a Rev F like this one and a Rev E which also has a toggle on it for JammASD/Xinput.

Currently awaiting my Barrel to USB-C converters to arrive from China so I can start setting up on my Taki Udon board.

This is from the Mister.ini on the SD card that came with my Rev F.

; JammaSD/J-PAC/I-PAC keys to joysticks translation
; You have to provide correct VID and PID of your input device
; Examples: Legacy J-PAC with Mini-USB or USB capable I-PAC with PS/2 connectors VID=0xD209/PID=0x0301
; USB Capable J-PAC with only PS/2 connectors VID=0x04B4/PID=0x0101
; JammaSD: VID=0x04D8/PID=0xF3AD
jamma_vid=0x04D8
jamma_pid=0xF3AD

; Disable merging input devices. Use if only player 1 works.
; Leave no_merge_pid empty to apply this to all devices with the same VID.
no_merge_vid=0x045E
no_merge_pid=0x028E

See 1p 2p switch ..
I get what your saying as the mister mimics the pcb so all controlls mapped directly in core

On all the pictures Ive seen and on both my boards that P1/P2 switch is to the right, so pushed to the USB3 connector side and not the JVS side.

Did you use the SD card that came with it without changing anything?

There is controls mapping file in controls\input\ on the SD card, if you havent used that then that could be your problem as well.

There is a download of the mister.ini and the controls map file on the arcade projects forum you can copy to you sd card. Post #16

thank you fantasia ,
I did suspect the merging had something to do with it ,

But I do not understand the wording?
Sounds like I need to disable merging
Right ?
Leave no merge pid empty /
I deleted the pid code .
Tried again to difine player 2
I no dice

Why not try editing the mister.ini with the information I posted, exactly as its posted.

Also if you didnt use the provided SD card and setup one from scratch you may need the key mapping file in the zip file from arcade projects that I linked to.

The controls map file provided by the maker of the card should have all the controls already correctly mapped.
