I dont have experience but i stuck a thread up a while ago about them and lots answered commenting on quality ect. I do remember people saying the recap and change the flyback i think (crts not my thing though !) I will see if i can find it. I cant help with the compatibility i am afraid.

Hope this helps,

Dave.

EDIT :-

Once thread here (Not mine) :- https://www.ukvac.com/forum/threads/chinese-crt-chassis-with-25-tv-tube.79852/

Cant find mine !

I've seen one runing instead of an mtc9000 and had really good image.
If I have to change all the caps and the flyback I could just do that on the original hantarex chassis and not bother. I don't know, maybe I'll try one anyway.

It seems to have an bridge rectifier on the power supply input. I assume it could work fine with an US250 power supply. (DC voltage).

There was someone on the thread I posted who has just purchased one and was going to post how he got on but cant remember for the life of me who it was !

Yeh recapping and changing flyback seems a lot of work for something you have paid good money for , But that the Chinese crap again I am afraid ! I would repair the one you have if it was me. I saw these more of a replacement when original was toast or you wanted to stick them on TV's to convert to CRT Monitors.

Dave.

I ordered one of those chassis from Ali express the other day to go with a NOS Philips A59EAK071X01 tube. Hopefully it will be here within a week and I can test it out

I bought one
Wired it up ..
But I can’t remeber exactly but I think it powerd up but I didn’t get a kneck glow .

It’s sat in a box now .
It looks put together on the less expensive components.
Let’s just say that .
But if it works it works good luck with your guys ones i would love to see results when you get em rigged up 👍

I got quite decent results. Still need to work on the horizontal width and linearity. So far so good. I did not change anything. Plug an play with an MTC900E CRT (ITT 510VSB22.....)

Still looking for an description for adjustments.

Image and geometry look pretty good to me. Is there a version for a 19"/20" tube?
This is 14"-21" version.

Still need to upgrade the components listed in another thread. That white cement resistor does get very very hot.

It would be great to know what B+ should be and where to measure it.

The link in your original post says 25-29"?

Try measuring the voltage going through that resistor. Might be b+ but just guessing. Is there a b+ adjustment on this chassis?

Yes, the link is for the 25-29" . I found one for 14" 21" . I didn't know at the time od posting that there are different version. Most likley there are other coils and capacitors.

I'm asking about B+ because I had to run everything at almost minim in order to get an good picture. Otherwise the brightness ans colors are way to overdriven. Also changing the brightness dose slightly change the picture size too. Still a lot to do on it. I didn't expect more from china stuff.
