I've been wrestling with picking up a decent sized 4:3 CRT in the 19-21" range for playing old Sega and Nintendo stuff and have seen a few people butcher the odd mega drive here and there to hook it up to a Jamma setup.
It would be a nice compromise long term, or temporary measure whilst I sort out how I can lay things out with a standard CRT TV.
This is just a thought right now, not looked at it in any detail, but I'd want it to be non-destructive. I'm also curious as to how the resolutions would look between say a MD and SNES on an traditional arcade monitor, if it was even possible
