2.1 drop in replacement speakers Astro City?

Hi all, I'm looking at drop in replacement speakers that are easily available. I don't believe the included speakers are shielded, weirdly enough!

Anyway, they sound terrible and I've seen a few people use Logitech systems to drop them in. The difference is that I'm using Revalbox Jamma which has a separate minijack out, which means if:
* the sound system is shielded
* The satellite speakers are 3"
* It is self powered...

...then I should be able to run the cables and use a separate power source.

Sadly the Logitech Z333 I looked at is not shielded.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Cambridge Soundworks SBS52 pc speakers were good drop in replacements.

Thanks, unfortunately it's not a 2.1 system. The idea is to remove the casing on the satellites but keep the sub at the bottom and use the amp + volume control that comes with it
