The all-time high score was held by some guy called... um, oh, would you believe it, I've forgotten the initials! There was definitely an 'R' and a 'U' in there, though!

Same person had the hi-score on Star Wars, I believe.

As for the t-shirt - well it would be rude not to, wouldn't it?

And finally.... Had just one game of Pac and got a new personal best. Pacman83 has nothing to worry about, but scored 122k on my first life and ended up 7k short of 200,000, so happy with that!

I've only ever played the Atari 2600 version (which is also great fun) prior to today, and didn't realise how much better the arcade version is!

Had a great time again today, was nice to speak to who I saw, didn't get to say hi to Fuzzy though!
Had fun on Time Pilot, is nice that I've finally started to learn that game. Was also good to get on loads of pins, or loads of time on not so many pins!

I'm not sure, it's was all keys at the bottom of the screen and the board I died on surprised me a bit because Pac and the ghosts seemed slower than the previous level. Possibly the 5th or 6th key?

I was just trying to clear levels and missed tonnes of ghosts and fruits along the way!

I need to get a Pac-Man cab and learn to play it properly.

Board 21(9th key) is where the ghosts are quicker than Pac Man. They're actually the same speed as the Apple board, but Pac Man slows a little, then coupled with the slowing effect of eating, he's considerably slower and the ghosts gain on you rapidly.

Here's where a lot of Pac players suffer because if you're running a pattern (as we all do here) but it breaks down, most guys will die very quickly unless you practice freehand grouping. This is the only way to bail yourself out in a long game where invariably, everyone's patterns breakdown at some point.

Practice some grouping in the future, it will help your game. You've done incredibly well, keep it up!

Firstly cheers to anyone who loaned a machine,helped in any way or just turned up - much appreciated.
I got back from there lunchtime today(Monday),tho fellow NLP'er would not have finished machine drop off till about 10pm at a rough guesS(left him be,will phone him tomorrow).
Was a busy weekend but i enjoyed it.We had issues,naturally for a new venue,but managed to work thru them all.
Lock in was good as got to actually play summat (had a great laugh on track and field with my mate).
Also got some of the pinball guys to play Warlords - we had a blast with that one

Incidently i was the long haired guy with the blue NLP crew t shirt on all weekend(two shirts,didn't use one all weekend

,had clean one each day!).
