Man - that is a sweet collection.

Was that the Invaders that Alpha1 was selling (on behalf on someone)?

The one for sale had buttons rather than a joystick, which is pretty rare for a Taito invaders, and it wasn't cheap... which leads me to suspect that this must be same machine and that you have bagged it?

If that's the one, then imho it is worth every penny... I have never seen a Taito SI in that condition.

As for the rest of your collection, it looks equally minty.... very, very tidy collection. Very, very jealous!

Yes I bought the Space Invaders from Archer MacLean, along with a few others, great guy with some awesome games and a stock of parts and PCB's that's second to none.

Galaxian is my dream cab...that one looks like it just rolled off the line, and straight through a time warp to the present day.

Superb collection. Take care of it well!

Really nice selection of machines.

How on earth did you get the F355 DX down those stairs?
Does your basement have another entrance by any chance?

Lunar Lander is one cab I'd like to play, I've never played that with the thruster assy.

There is no other access, the only way to get the games in and out is to remove the bay window. We managed to strip and shoehorn the seat module though the removed bay window, however the monitor / game board box would not fit, however where there is a will there is a way……..

How did you join those pieces back together mate?
Do they simply bolt onto that metal tubular monitor frame section? I'd be afraid of something bending without the additional support of the wooden frame as that's gotta be close to 100kg in monitors alone!

It's such a nice cab though, so I understand why you went through all of that hassle. I'm halfway into restoring a twin but if I had the space I'd love a Deluxe.
There was no expense spared when Sega made the F355 DX cab and it really shows.

Thanks.

Thanks.

The steel frame carries all the weight, no need to worry about joining the pieces back together

wow that's dedication cutting the cab in half , think I would of been more comfortable putting in some patio doors :) would save a lot of hassle getting the cabs in and out in the future :)
