Last night I received devastating news. My friend passed away from a wasp sting. He was a truck driver and was on his way back home. While driving, he opened the window to get some fresh air, and a wasp flew inside and stung him.

He immediately called emergency services, explained what had happened, and told them he was allergic. Sadly, he couldn’t share his location. It took two hours for them to find him, and by then it was too late—he had suffocated.

Knowing he was allergic, he should have always carried an adrenaline shot (EpiPen) with him, but he didn’t. If he had one, he might still be alive today.

So please, if you know about your allergies, always keep the necessary medication with you—just in case! It could save your life.

Another thing that could help in emergencies is a portable emergency light that can be placed on the roof or hood of a vehicle, making you visible to rescue teams or helicopters.

STAY SAFE.
