An Amazon order was supposedly delivered to me today, but it wasn't. Status says 'parcel was handed to resident', which it certainly wasn't. Not had this happen before, so not sure what to do about it, as there doesn't seem to be a way to report it as not received, like there is on ebay.

The order wasn't very valuable, but I'm interested to hear what can be done in this situation?

Cheers.

You can contact the seller through your account page, and request a refund based on a non delivery, it’s then up to the seller to prove what happened to it.

I've found Amazon to be incredibly helpful with stuff like that when you contact their customer service. You should be able to do bring up a chatbox with a CS rep and they'll be able to go through it. Issues at the moment seem to be their own logistics guys have a set GPS location to deliver parcels to, and with the no-contact delivery stuff just gets dropped at the location they've been given.

I had a problem with an item getting badly damaged in transit that was for a gift, let them know and they got a new one sent out and delivered within a few hours. Quite incredible really!

Thanks, guys. My front door can be a bit difficult to find (it's up a side path), but Amazon are usually very good.
