Anyone with BARB TV survey

Hi. Came home to my wife looking at the mori survey invite to BARB TV.
Basically they fit a box to each TV and monitor what channels folk watch , a box that you press who is watching . We do a few surveys voucher paid , but this BARB shiz got me in doubt. Wife ok with it .
Does anyone have it or know anything. Very vague I know and unusual to ask on here , but help appreciated. If my doubts dont change then it ain't happening. Thanks

We did that for a while about 15 years back. It just monitors who in your house is watching what. That's how the broadcasters work out viewing figures. Back then, I seem to remember you got a tenner a month or something similar for participating. I imagine that's changed one way or another now.
