true... but not exactly
they are virtual arcade games in a video game... a kind of arcade shoot-em up in reverse... you'll see all my favorite arcade games being shot to smithereens with various weapons, all done in a game engine for an on-line multi-player game.
The arcade machines were modeled by a chap named 'Gozer' over at google-sketchup and i made them all work with greater effect in a game engine...
I had to create the screen animations (basically me playing the games in mame and taking screen-shots) and in the level you can walk into a make-shift arcade and use it for a spawn-point (game feature) etc etc etc... i even recorded the correct sound effects for each game to create the arcade-ambiance
In the video I'm just testing bullet reactions to sub-surface materials
