I’m a big VR fan and loved New Retro Arcade Neon when I first got into it in 2016/17. It was good for the time, but definitely had its limitations, like no vertical screens, and was a pain to set up. You had to get the skins for the cabinets, attract videos, etc and even then it looked a bit janky.
Things have obviously moved on and a dude called halfdeck has taken it to the next level with Arcade Time Capsule. He’s just doing it himself and it’s available for free with regular updates from the discord channel. Even as it is now, it’s in a different league to NRAN. Plus, he’s done all the hard work for you and all you need are the roms. The downside is it’s not customisable in terms of cabs, but I’ll take that for the convenience!
It’s progressed since this video, but you get the idea. If you’ve got a VR headset give it a go. As always with VR, videos don’t do it justice.
