As some of the Jamma+ guys know, I've been working on tidying up an Atari Asteroids cab for about 9 months, so I thought I'd share the most recent photos

Still quite a bit of work to do, but it's coming together now, and (I think) the end is in sight

This has been my first dedicated "restoration", and I have made some major mistakes, and could have done things a lot better....but I've learnt a few things for the next one, and it's not turned out too bad so far

great cab im very jealous. i love these wee cabaret things. i nearly had 1 but reneged on it. just something about the build on them, smart looking like a wee business man. efficient and unobtrusive, although at the time i played them i felt a bit ripped of

Finally, after almost a year I have a working asty!!! Wahey!!

I finally managed to power and and test all the voltages on the AR1 and PCB tonight, and I could hear the game playing blind, so dug the monitor out of its box, plugged it in, and had a few games :)

The only two minor issues that I had was the Player 1 button doesn't work, so I've either wired this up wrong, or its dead, and the monitor vertical is too high, so I can't see the scores.

Apart from that I'm a happy man
