Hia,

the only flyer I can find is for the conversion kit. KLOV's my first port of call for cab dimensions these days. Even trawled google groups to no avail.

I'd quite like to get hold of one but the two steering wheels make me think it'll be too wide for my doorway.

the steering wheel control panel comes off the cabinet quite easily, unclips and slides right out.

Well I just took a punt on a monitorless one from Fleebay, so let's hope it does fit :)

I used to love this game. I'll need a 19inch Hanty or WG as I'm out of CGA monitors.

Anyone have one they'd sell ;)

Wicked. Good luck with getting it in man. The control panel will come off, so depth and width wise it might not be as bad as you think. They're quite tall, which can actually be the problem people don't think about. But unless you've got to get round a tight bend, you should be ok.

It'll be a straight walk into the garage with the thing slid in on its back and stood up once inside. I managed the Outrun which is a bloody heavy cab, so I think without a monitor, CP and backdoor, this thing should be manageable. There again it is an Atari cab and they are heavy! (at least my Marble Madness used to be)

I used to have one a long time ago and a guy walking by my place saw it on and asked to play - he ended up stoping by regularly to play 2 player - it is a good 2 player game :)

There used to be a badlands in a garage at a student house I once lived, looking all lonely, I cleaned it up and played on it all the time, I often wonder if it still languishes in that garage. Good fun game.

Man Up!

It was a bargain, or it appeared to be. I was bit torn between that and the Afterburner from the same chap (I used to have one I bought from Rav many years ago), but in the end the idea of a fun two player game won the day.

I'll keep you all informed about how I get on, getting it across my 29inch threshold. I think it'll be OK but it will be embarrassing if it won't fit!

Thanks for the offer of spares Conners, I'll be taking you up on that!

Just need to find a screen for it when it arrives.
