Outrun mini ,up and running and a bit of a restoration ,nothing major like some of the restorations
Nice fresh capped monitor ,a bit of cleaning ,stripping ,painting,board repaired
By an absolute legend on here with enhanced roms added,new switcher and time to enjoy

Yes it was a bit of a state ,it was cleaned a bit on the outside when I got it but as you can see the inside was yuck
The board looked ok to the eye and apparently worked lol !
It turned out to be a real nightmare too
I had a nice monitor done by gunblade sitting waiting for a cab
The accelerater is broken at the end ,so I could do with one of those and a steering wheel .it has a chip out of it (but I’m not that picky so can live with the battle scars .
I just removed all the metal bits ,rubbed them down and painted ,the side art is really good
It plays really lovely ,so much more responsive than on mame
Yes I love a bit of hang on too , it was the game changer ,even though outrun gets the credit usually ,muddymusic reproduced that proper marquee for the cabaret version
I could do win some side art for it and the speed /rev dials

Cheers guys ,I could really do with a new dash and decal .
I’ve a steering wheel on the way ,doubt I go down the ‘just out of the box route ‘
I’m happy if my games are working ,don’t mind if they aren’t prestine as they never were when I played them back in the day.
