Problem Dead Gorf

I have a set of Gorf boards that appear to be completely dead. I bought them a few years ago as working but didn't have a cab at that point. I'm not really sure what to try next to get them going. I've removed the linear power supply and have tried powering with a switcher directly at the boards input connector and with an adapter and switcher as described here, neither of which worked:

I was hoping the cab would display an error or make an error sound. The rank light bulbs worked at one point but they don't anymore.

Any help would be appreciated.

If you are on FB get on the Gorf groups, Matt Garrett is a Gorf expert board wise in UK with regards testing etc. they are super sensitive to overvoltage on the 5v which kills the custom IC.

as above a few years ago Matt tested a whole lot of Gorf boards for me and i was lucky to get a complete working set out of them thanks to matt for helping me out , went on holiday to the states last year got the new digital joystick insert new ranking board lights while i was there ,still not put it all back together sat gathering cobwebs in the game hut

as above a few years ago Matt tested a whole lot of Gorf boards for me and i was lucky to get a complete working set out of them thanks to matt for helping me out , went on holiday to the states last year got the new digital joystick insert new ranking board lights while i was there ,still not put it all back together sat gathering cobwebs in the game hut

I put the joystick mod in, it is pretty cool, hoping the guy does a tron one
