Well done. That looks very nicely built and clearly has all the right ingredients.

It's nice to see a decent standard build instead of the usual hellish shame cabs that litter the tinterwebs.

Because you asked, I've done a couple which you can see on my blog, link in signature.

Donkey Kong and Robotron.

Thanks,I built it to keep it authentic just like they were in the early eighties.
How do I look at your cabs?

That's a nice looking cab. The control panel is very shiny, very nice. Also like the dark wood grain vinyl.

I have a Pac-Man Cabaret that I've been building for the last 10 years 😅. I want to get it done by the end of this year, so I'm using all my spare time (which isn't much) to finish it. I'm in the middle of painting it. Was going to use vinyl, but for some reason chose spray cans. Don't know why, it was a bad decision really, but I'm getting a good finish with 3000 grit wet sanding:

Once its painted, I just need to put all of the parts back on the machine.

Here you go though..

Go to the scratch built section.

Top work! I keep wishing I had time, tools and knowhow to do this as I'd like two JAMMA cabs with swappable control panels. I have most bits to put in them but that's about it!

P.S. I've just noticed that your monitor frame is hinged, what was the purpose of this?
Hi,

I put hinges there so that you can lower the monitor assembly and then you can remove the 4 bolts off the crt corners and change the crt position to horizontal or vertical direction, once it’s inverted you simply push it back up and secure it.

thanks for your comments (y)
