Dj disco amps info?

I got this stuff in a job lot! Know nothing about this stuff? Was wanting to test it before selling but it has some funny 3 pin connectors ? Can anyone educate me please? Excluding the hifi amp on the top

Hiya. I have a limited experience of PA kit but XLR sounds right to me too (for audio input). Do you have proper PA speakers to test them with? Pretty sure normal domestic hifi speakers wont like the power output of those amps, plus the impedance will probably be wrong too.

Hi Blinky thanks, yes I have a set of 500w skylab pa speakers, I will take some pics of the back of these hopefully today, never seen XLR plugs before lol

Yup. XLR plugs are balanced so more suitable for higher power amps, mics etc

Ok so I’m thinking rca to xlr female to hook them to a player of some kind

If you want the sound to go from the player into these amplifier, you might need an xlr male plug.
Look on the sockets if they have holes or pins.

Yup. I use such cables to output from my mixers to my hifi amps.

So if I wanted to test the mixer I can feed it with RCA in, then I need 2 x double female XLR leads to feed the top amp but the bottom amp needs XLR female to male, is that correct?
Or it looks like the bottom amp has both male and female XLR imput plugs? If that's the case I just need one set of male to female XLR leads?
