Picked up a Double Dragon bootleg with no sound recently.
Couple of electrolytic caps had broken off and the rest looked pretty old so replaced 14 of them. Still no game audio but amp was working when injecting another audio signal into the amp input.
Dig out the schematics, scope and LA and prepare to get stuck in.. but a quick bit of fingering about revealed the 68A09 was running a lot hotter than I'd expect.
Replaced the suspect processor and we've got full audio back
