You are at liberty to post links to binary content provided it does not conflict with anything in the restrictions above.
Admin Policy
UKVAC follows a 3 strikes policy. After 3 warnings a ban for 1 week will be imposed as a ‘cooling off’ period. Outright banning is an action of last resort which will only be applied in extreme cases.
Forum Usage
There is a fairly comprehensive page of help available at http://www.ukvac.com/forum/help.asp
As we find users having difficulties with any particular issues, including browser specific issues we will add anything not covered by the help page to this FAQ. If you are having difficulties with any aspect of the site you should first check this section of the FAQ. If your issue is not covered here it may be covered in the above help section. Finally, if you are still stuck please contact any member of the admin team by PM.
Lost passwords
If you have lost or do not remember your forum password please contact a moderator or member of the admin team to get it reset. The new password will be sent by default to the email address provided in your profile. If this has changed please mention this when you request the password change!
Private Messages
UKVAC forums provide the facility to send private messages to other users. Please abide by the forum etiquette when using this system as if you were posting to the entire user list. For any abuses of this please contact a member of the Admin team.
Hacking or exploitation of the website and bugs
We all know UKVAC uses Webwiz as it's forum core. However we also provide custom development, and sometimes a bug may exist in our code, for example refreshing a web page to be granted more points to increase your point count.
If anything is done to maliciously attack this forum, you will be banned and not welcome anymore. If you find a potential issue please PM a Dev Team member, Mod or Admin, or preferably send an email to the relevant teams using
AdminTeam@ukvac.com
DevTeam@ukvac.com
ModTeam@ukvac.com
UKVAC in all instances will provide a mature, fair and equal handling of all situations no matter who you are, old or new. It will always be fair and balanced, we stand by this.
As more custom development is introduced we welcome BETA testers, please get in touch if you believe you fit and can provide feedback to our development areas.
Thank you,
The UKVAC Team
