Hi - one of my Sega Rally PCB stack in faulty - when I turn it on, i get a screen of jibberish - pink characters.
Can't get to test screen - any thoughts? Can anyone on here fix Model 2 boards? Thanks, Jason

label all boards
1-rom
1-video
1-cpu

do the same with your working stack using 2 instead of 1

now mix and match boards, until you find the duff.

I'd try the video board (rows of leds on it) first.

Chances are you need a working video board. (£250 approx (i maybe well out))

I had a similar issue and it turned out to be the ROM board, which was a relief. Just showed a static screen of garbage and couldn't get into the test menu. When my M2 video boards have gone, they have generally still booted and the game's run, but the graphics go all shaky and flickery. Best way is to mix and match as above, but start with the ROM board!
