Lesson learned !

Don’t buy cap kits from usa

Filter cap is for usa voltage .not uk . Doh!
Main filter cap on my chassis is 400v
Filter cap in my cap kit 250v

Only went for this bloody kit from usa for the price of filter cap kit in uk is expensive ..
everyday is a school day

Yeh I did
She sent me a refund as postage silly for one cap.


Iv measured my filter cap and the cap next to the flyback I’m seeing them both out of range by about 60 percent.
