G-NET Mod Bios issue

Hi all,

Does anyone have experience with the G-Net and flashing the the bios?

I've managed to flash the bios, that went through without a hitch. Then when ever I tried to load a game from CF or an original I would just get a series of colour bars. So on a whim I thought I would remove the backup daughter board, and yep that did the trick, it works flawlessly.

So looking around online it seems the Mod bios should work with the daughter board so I wonder if its faulty? I guess ultimately it doesn't matter if I leave it off, what does it even do?

i did the mod bios on mine and it has the Daughter board and it works fine , did you use the latest version of the bios off the web page ?

only issue i had was finding compatible CF cards

Thanks guys, It's good to know it should work with the daughterboard @tonybolony. I think it might be a hardware issue. After a bit of research think it might be down to the intel flash memory, that seems to be a point of failure. It has periods of working ok then sometimes it will corrupt onscreen graphics or will reset. Its pretty stable at the moment so ill keep an eye on it.
