GALs

Does anyone know where I can buy blank GAL22V10 s in this country ?.

I just got a couple for Unicorn electronics in the US and found that
the lettering on top is worn off so I can't tell what type they are and also
they are not blank. Useless !, they are selling them as new.

Gals are flash (like) devices and can be reprogrammed many times, so
the ones you have should be ok. You should be able to erase it in your
programmer software. Alternatively try grabbing one off a MK1 bootleg..

Ah ha !, Thanks for that. The erase option was greyed out on when I looked (Data IO Chiplab), but I guess that may have been because I had the wrong device selected, Impossible to tell with the markings rubbed off. It lead me to belive that they were one time programmable.
Thanks too to Mike, I have a couple of faulty SF2 bootlegs, I'll have to dig them out.
